February – Club evening: regular general meeting of members for 2016
On 01.02.2017, the regular general meeting of the members of the German-Belarusian Economic Club for 2016 was held. Hovsep Voskanyan, Chairman of the Board of the Club, took on the role of Chairman of the meeting. According to the Statutes of the Club, the first part of the meeting presented the results of the Club's work for the past year. The General Meeting then dismissed the members of the Management Board and the cash controllers of the Club.
This was followed by the election of the Club's Board members, held every 2 years. As a result of the elections, Olga Moseychuk, Hovsep Voskanyan, Alexander Lissem and Harald Telemann were re-elected to the board for the next term. Kirill Korzhovnik, the representative of Strominvest, became the fifth member of the Management Board. The new Management Board will continue with the statutory meetings of the Management Board already in February.
The elections were followed by the presentation of the Club's tasks and plans for 2017. A general vote was taken on important issues of the Club's work, in particular the organization of the main event of the year and other specialized events in the form of excursions to various businesses, as well as the traditional Club evenings. In total, the meeting lasted about 3 hours and laid the foundation for the Club's work in 2017. We hope that the first results of the decisions made will be visible in the coming weeks.
