STARODOROZHSKIY EXPERIMENTAL FORESTRY

"Starodorozhskiy experimental forestry farm" of Golkhu is located on the territory of Starodorozhskiy district in the southern part of Minsk region. The total area of the farm is 70,5 thousand ha, including the area, covered by forest, 64,9 thousand ha, forest cover of the area is 50,5%. The regional structure includes nursery forestry, forestry and seven forestry districts: Gorkovskoe, Zaluzhskoe, Novodorozhskoe, Pasekskoe, Polozhevichskoe, Starodorozhskoe and Falichskoe. Moreover, the leskhoz consists of 20 workshops, 80 forest patrols, 2 wood processing units, a chemical fire station, and a mechanical repair workshop.

. Wood processing workshops are equipped with modern hi-tech equipment which allows us to produce high quality competitive products. Our goods are produced from ecologically pure raw materials and are sold not only in the Republic of Belarus but also in non-CIS countries.

Starodorozhskiy experimental forestry produces:

edged and unedged spruce timber of coniferous and deciduous species, atmospheric and chamber drying;

Half-timbered woodwork: architraves, plinth etc.
Timber for container production. Prefabricated wood for container manufacturing

Saplings of ornamental species. In addition to the production, Starodorozhsky experimental forestry offers the services of the Hunting complex in the village of Noviye Falichi. The area of hunting grounds is 29.9 thousand hectares. Hunting for wild ungulates is allowed within the established limits. There are two hunting lodges with comfortable living conditions on the territory of the complex. The area of the Starodorozhsky leskhoz is equipped with numerous areas for comfortable family recreation in nature with gazebo, shashlik houses and playgrounds. There are also good places for recreational fishing.
