The state system for the circulation of scrap and waste of ferrous and non-ferrous metals over the century-long history of its activity has turned into a dynamically developing, high-tech branch of the national economy of the Republic of Belarus. According to the level of technical equipment, the variety of technologies used and the personnel potential, the system is among the best not only in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, but also in Europe as a whole.

The state Association "Belvtormet" is a powerful multifunctional system of enterprises. The main mission of the State Association "Belvtormet" is the procurement, processing and supply of scrap and waste of ferrous and non-ferrous metals to metallurgical and foundry enterprises of the Republic of Belarus, the production of foundry products from non-ferrous metals and alloys.
