The biography of the Company's activity dates back to 1963, when a representative office of the All-Union Chamber of Commerce was opened at the Brest-Tsentralny station of the Belarusian Railway. In 1964, the representative office was transformed into the Brest Regional Bureau of Commodity Expertise of the Belarusian branch of the All-Union Chamber of Commerce, and in 1979 - into the Brest branch of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Belarusian SSR.
Currently, the Unitary Enterprise "Brest Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry" implements the goals and objectives of the founder - the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry - in its region - the Brest region.
The Company's activities are multifaceted and have their own specific characteristics. This is due to the cross-border location of the Brest region and its center, Brest, at the geographical junction of the state borders of Belarus, Poland and Ukraine - the most important transport and economic crossroads. The activity of the first free economic zone in the republic "Brest", as well as the creation and development of the euroregion "Bug" has a great influence on the work of the Enterprise.
On the territory of the Brest region there is the National Park "Belovezhskaya Pushcha", the oldest forest reserve in Europe, included in the World Heritage List of Mankind and having the status of a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO decision.
