Over the centuries-old history of its existence, the Belarusian people have created a large and original literature, one of the richest in the world. Unfortunately, it is still hidden from us in its entirety behind seven locks. Today is the time to unlock those locks, to return our cultural heritage, without which we cannot realize ourselves as a people. Just for this, famous figures of science and literature formed a representative organization - the international public association "Belarusian Book Collection", which set itself the task of publishing in separate volumes, under a general heading, all the best of literature that was created on the Belarusian land from the very beginning of writing to the present day. This unique publication in vivid artistic images and documentary materials will reveal to us the entire thousand-year history of Belarus. The books of the "Belarusian book collection" will be desktop for every Belarusian who wants to know his Fatherland, who does not want to be Ivan bezrodich. the authors of this multi-volume serial publication are both natives of Belarus and foreign writers who lived on our land and told about it in their books. Works written in foreign languages (Latin, Polish, Jewish, etc.) or in Old Slavonic and Old Belarusian will be submitted in translation into modern Belarusian. Of course, it will be very difficult to start such a large-scale publication in our difficult time. A lot of money is needed here. But we Belarusians, I think, have already grown up to show ourselves worthily in front of the world. We call on all conscious Belarusians to take a direct part in the return of our "overslept" culture, to make their feasible contribution to our national revival. we also appeal to our foreign friends. If you want to see a free, independent, peace-loving people in the center of Europe, help them in any way possible to return their historical memory, forcibly taken away from them. As you know, people without their historical memory are unpredictable. We believe that there will be people, teams that will want to finance the publication. The book of this real home university published at their expense will be their significant contribution to our culture, will become their constant pride and, of course, the best advertisement of a company or organization. The names of the sponsors will be printed in the most prominent place of this prestigious publication and thus will forever fit into the history of our culture. The release of each book - in a beautiful serial design- will be a real celebration of Belarusian writing. And the most honorable participant of this holiday will be the one who helped the book to come out into the world, who invested his money in it, thus becoming to a certain extent its owner. In the House of the Writer, it is planned to set up the premieres of each book of the "Belarusian book collection" with the display of the celebration on television, with coverage of it in all mass media.
